Culture is a form of education. Mankind's ascent to civilisation, which has been achieved through tremendous effort, is reflected in many fields - science, arts, religion, ethics, customs etc. These fields collectively form culture.
Welfare Sub-Committee
One's greatest joy is derived not only from one's achievement, but also from the ability to bring happiness to others and to alleviate others' sufferings. When one is experiencing a hard time, a helping hand is like a lamp which lights up one’s life and guides one away from darkness. Welfare Sub-Committee serves to fulfil this role.
Recreation Sub-Committee
Recreation encompasses the values of healthy living and entertainment. It acts to regulate our busy and hectic lifestyle. A healthy mind and body, which is the foundation for all kinds of work, can be achieved through exercise of the body and purification of the mind. In modern times, we should relax and enrich our lives by participating in healthy recreational activities amidst our hectic schedules.
General Affairs Sub-Committee
The General Affairs Sub-Committee takes charge of activities which do not fall under the helm of the other four sub-committees. As the activities of the General Affairs Sub-Committee are wide-ranging and largely fragmented, they require the most manpower.
